NASAC reports
In response to mounting evidence of both chronic (e.g., cancer, liver cirrhosis and other diseases and illnesses) and acute (e.g., alcohol poisoning, physical/verbal fights and accidents) alcohol-related harms the National Alcohol Strategy Advisory Committee developed the Low Risk Drinking Guidelines. The Guidelines were developed using the best available evidence and represent the first-ever pan-Canadian guidelines to educate Canadians by providing information on moderate use of alcohol.
