Total number of deaths: 71*
- Two new cases both related to travel.
- Median age of hospitalized cases = 34 years.
- Median age of deaths = 50 years.
* One death was an out of country resident. The total number of deaths includes those who died from H1N1 and those who died from other causes and also tested positive for H1N1.
H1N1 Immunizations – Doses Administered
Up to February 27, 2010, over 1.25 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine were administered to Albertans.
