2006 Health Benefit Design Options report
In October 2005, the Government of Alberta contracted Aon Consulting to review Albertas health care system and propose alternative ways to fund health services. The Health Benefit Design Options Report was the first known report of its kind in Canada to project health costs to 2050.
While government is not planning to adopt any of the insurance models outlined in the report, the models do provide information on funding alternatives for government to consider in the future.
