2006 Health Policy Framework

Released in February 2006, Alberta's Health Policy Framework itemized ten new policy directions for sustainable, flexible and accessible health services for Albertans.
  • The framework was created to guide government and health care partners in making positive, innovative changes to the public health care system that work for Albertans and Alberta's health care providers.

Albertans were invited to provide feedback on the framework. Based on what was heard, the framework will be revised.
