Health Advisory Councils

Established in July 2009, each of the 12 Health Advisory Councils consists of 10–15 members who represent geographic areas around the province. Appointed to two- and three-year terms, Council members act in an advisory capacity. The role of the Councils is to engage community members by gathering input and feedback on local health service delivery in communities across the province.
