Air Quality Health Index launch

Alberta has adopted and modified the national Air Quality Health Index to best monitor our province’s air quality. Albertans will be able to look at anticipated air quality for the current day, night and the following day and have access to the most comprehensive air quality information system in Canada.

Representatives from Alberta Health and Wellness and Alberta Environment were joined by Environment Canada to announce the new index.
